Welcome to Physical Culture.
I know that I'm not your highest paying customer, but I am Physical Culture for life! Y'all have me for whatever journey you are on and I want my sister in law to come in!
have loved exercise for as long as I can remember - running, soccer, yoga, HIIT workouts, boxing, tennis, etc. The sweatier the better. In my 30s, after having 2 kids and a desk job and still staying quite active, lots of chronic tightness aches, and pains started to creep into my back, neck, and hips. The pain was affecting my sleep, my time with my family, and my mental health. I tried everything: chiropractic, yoga/stretching, massage, and even PT. A neighbor raved about how Davidson and Sarah had helped her - so I went in with an open mind. Within the first 2 weeks of starting SI treatments with Davidson, I felt a noticeable change in how I felt and moved. Once they started me with red cord and pilates over the next several months, I realized as my pain diminished I felt stronger, fitter, and more balanced than I have in my whole life. My tennis game has improved, I go running without pain, I sleep great, and I feel awesome. Davidson and Sarah have literally changed my life, and I am so grateful that I made this investment in my health.

About Our Practice
Physical Culture is a structural integration studio. We use a combination of tools and techniques including pilates, Redcord, kettlebell, and manual work to help our clients bring their bodies and minds into their most ideal alignment.
“It’s hard to put into words exactly what Physical Culture does, but it’s easy to describe the results… they eliminate pain and put things back where they’re supposed to be :-) which either allows the pain cycle to be broken or body contour to be enhanced, or both!! Owner, Davidson Reid, has spent a lifetime studying the human body and it shows; he knows more about my body then I do! Davidson identifies and corrects things I didn’t know where ‘broken’ through a combination of Red Cord, Structural Integration and Pilates. After just a couple months, I was able to eliminate the need for weekly massage. Thank you, Physical Culture”
Our structure optimizes your success.
Every Body Starts Here.
This series of 5 private sessions begins with a simple postural + movement screen that determines the most efficient, effective starting place for our work together. This allows us to have a unique, active conversation established with you when you move into duets and semi privates. At Physical Culture you will always be doing your workout; not a predetermined, choreographed routine that is taught to everyone.
Private. Duet. Semi Private.
After completing the introductory work, we can confidently move into session work with a clear understanding of your individual body and our collective goals. Some clients prefer to continue to work privately and others enjoy working out with a partner or in a semi private (small group of up to five people). Whatever your personal preference regarding session size, we will always be working toward your individual needs and goals.
These sessions look very similar to a massage, however they are quite different in many ways. With his hands, Davidson is able to affect the connective, soft tissue structures of your body. This work makes the space for the changes to occur within your body. If your connective tissue is holding your structure in an inefficient and sometimes painful pattern, exercise alone can often be ineffective and frustrating.
Semi Private Weekly Schedule

What our clients say....
"People. If you live anywhere even close to this studio, make the trip. I have been a yoga teacher since 2007, and everyone knows the animosity between yoga and Pilates, so I do not give this recommendation lightly. More importantly I also have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy currently practicing in Washington State and I assure you, it is impossible to find a teacher with the same knowledge, experience, dedication, and true compassion for you and your body. So again, make the trip no matter what the distance, you will be well rewarded."
